Tech Cultist Bust

I wanted to try a different scale... I liked it. I will be adding some WIP photos on this very post.

It's been a while... again.

Every now and then I start a post saying 'I haven't been here for some time', 'Real life got in the way' or something like that... well I have a plan and that plan means I will be using more often the blog, not just for stuff I sculpt but also for stuff I paint and game with... hope you like the plan.

This one is the last thing I sculpted, I have another pending project (that I promise to e-mail pictures THIS year)... but I have a new job, one that once I manage to make it work as it's supposed it should work will let me have some time for sculpting... when I started the job I was pretty sure everything was going to move smoothly in about 4 to 6 months... well it took me almost a year and still has issues, but at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel...

It started with some random idea, but focused on doing a female sculpt, I accidentally smashed the first face so a second one replaced it... it's a small model, still in 32mm and she was supposed to be some kind of psychic agent... in my mind she is projecting a kinetic field...

I need to finish an Adeptus Mechanicum bust I'm doing... it needs a lot of work it might devolve into something else... but a girl named Octavia is going to get all my sculpting efforts now...

Altair - Big Scale sculpt

Altair is the main character for 'Altair and the Light of Power' cartoon project, standing straight probably will measure around 15cm.

It was very interesting working with cartoon proportions and some very nice concepts.

 

  

 

I also included the trailer for the cartoon so you guys can check up what other characters I'm working on ;)

I know it's been a while... been doing a lot of things behind the scene, soon my new site will be available (there is only me to blame as I haven't uploaded the content to the shiny wordpress my webmistress did for me)

Hasslefree is releasing my Steampunk Warrior, and hopefully will see a lot of sales... so go and drop some money into Sally and Kev's way at Hasslefree Miniatures even if it's not on my mini ;-)

Packaging is here!

I had a hard time receiving the packaging for my miniature... but I guess it's part of the growing pains... it took this guy almost two weeks past the original delivery date, but they are here and I'm finally ready to ship.

Sorry to the guys that already paid for the mini, tomorrow they will be in the mail.

But the packaging looks awesome :D



I have received several comments on how professional everything looks... it's just a matter of attention to details (been buying minis for so long I guess something I've learned) so I'm thinking in making the big jump and actually sculpting for my own 'SteelDragon Miniatures'. Hopefully this mini will help me paying for a real web page and I will be ready to go :D
